א  וַיֵּלֶךְ, מֹשֶׁה; וַיְדַבֵּר אֶת-הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה, אֶל-כָּל-יִשְׂרָאֵל. 1 And Moses went and spoke these words unto all Israel.
ב  וַיֹּאמֶר אֲלֵהֶם, בֶּן-מֵאָה וְעֶשְׂרִים שָׁנָה אָנֹכִי הַיּוֹם--לֹא-אוּכַל עוֹד, לָצֵאת וְלָבוֹא; וַיהוָה אָמַר אֵלַי, לֹא תַעֲבֹר אֶת-הַיַּרְדֵּן הַזֶּה. 2 And he said unto them: 'I am a hundred and twenty years old this day; I can no more go out and come in; and the LORD hath said unto me: Thou shalt not go over this Jordan.
ג  יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ הוּא עֹבֵר לְפָנֶיךָ, הוּא-יַשְׁמִיד אֶת-הַגּוֹיִם הָאֵלֶּה מִלְּפָנֶיךָ--וִירִשְׁתָּם; יְהוֹשֻׁעַ, הוּא עֹבֵר לְפָנֶיךָ, כַּאֲשֶׁר, דִּבֶּר יְהוָה. 3 The LORD thy God, He will go over before thee; He will destroy these nations from before thee, and thou shalt dispossess them; and Joshua, he shall go over before thee, as the LORD hath spoken.
ד  וְעָשָׂה יְהוָה, לָהֶם, כַּאֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה לְסִיחוֹן וּלְעוֹג מַלְכֵי הָאֱמֹרִי, וּלְאַרְצָם--אֲשֶׁר הִשְׁמִיד, אֹתָם. 4 And the LORD will do unto them as He did to Sihon and to Og, the kings of the Amorites, and unto their land; whom He destroyed.
ה  וּנְתָנָם יְהוָה, לִפְנֵיכֶם; וַעֲשִׂיתֶם לָהֶם--כְּכָל-הַמִּצְוָה, אֲשֶׁר צִוִּיתִי אֶתְכֶם. 5 And the LORD will deliver them up before you, and ye shall do unto them according unto all the commandment which I have commanded you.
ו  חִזְקוּ וְאִמְצוּ, אַל-תִּירְאוּ וְאַל-תַּעַרְצוּ מִפְּנֵיהֶם:  כִּי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ, הוּא הַהֹלֵךְ עִמָּךְ--לֹא יַרְפְּךָ, וְלֹא יַעַזְבֶךָּ.  {ס} 6 Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be affrighted at them; for the LORD thy God, He it is that doth go with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.' {S}
ז  וַיִּקְרָא מֹשֶׁה לִיהוֹשֻׁעַ, וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו לְעֵינֵי כָל-יִשְׂרָאֵל חֲזַק וֶאֱמָץ--כִּי אַתָּה תָּבוֹא אֶת-הָעָם הַזֶּה, אֶל-הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר נִשְׁבַּע יְהוָה לַאֲבֹתָם לָתֵת לָהֶם; וְאַתָּה, תַּנְחִילֶנָּה אוֹתָם. 7 And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel: 'Be strong and of good courage; for thou shalt go with this people into the land which the LORD hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it.
ח  וַיהוָה הוּא הַהֹלֵךְ לְפָנֶיךָ, הוּא יִהְיֶה עִמָּךְ--לֹא יַרְפְּךָ, וְלֹא יַעַזְבֶךָּ; לֹא תִירָא, וְלֹא תֵחָת. 8 And the LORD, He it is that doth go before thee; He will be with thee, He will not fail thee, neither forsake thee; fear not, neither be dismayed.'
ט  וַיִּכְתֹּב מֹשֶׁה, אֶת-הַתּוֹרָה הַזֹּאת, וַיִּתְּנָהּ אֶל-הַכֹּהֲנִים בְּנֵי לֵוִי, הַנֹּשְׂאִים אֶת-אֲרוֹן בְּרִית יְהוָה; וְאֶל-כָּל-זִקְנֵי, יִשְׂרָאֵל. 9 And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it unto the priests the sons of Levi, that bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and unto all the elders of Israel.
י  וַיְצַו מֹשֶׁה, אוֹתָם לֵאמֹר:  מִקֵּץ שֶׁבַע שָׁנִים, בְּמֹעֵד שְׁנַת הַשְּׁמִטָּה--בְּחַג הַסֻּכּוֹת. 10 And Moses commanded them, saying: 'At the end of every seven years, in the set time of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles,
יא  בְּבוֹא כָל-יִשְׂרָאֵל, לֵרָאוֹת אֶת-פְּנֵי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ, בַּמָּקוֹם, אֲשֶׁר יִבְחָר:  תִּקְרָא אֶת-הַתּוֹרָה הַזֹּאת, נֶגֶד כָּל-יִשְׂרָאֵל--בְּאָזְנֵיהֶם. 11 when all Israel is come to appear before the LORD thy God in the place which He shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing.
יב  הַקְהֵל אֶת-הָעָם, הָאֲנָשִׁים וְהַנָּשִׁים וְהַטַּף, וְגֵרְךָ, אֲשֶׁר בִּשְׁעָרֶיךָ--לְמַעַן יִשְׁמְעוּ וּלְמַעַן יִלְמְדוּ, וְיָרְאוּ אֶת-יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם, וְשָׁמְרוּ לַעֲשׂוֹת, אֶת-כָּל-דִּבְרֵי הַתּוֹרָה הַזֹּאת. 12 Assemble the people, the men and the women and the little ones, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law;
יג  וּבְנֵיהֶם אֲשֶׁר לֹא-יָדְעוּ, יִשְׁמְעוּ וְלָמְדוּ--לְיִרְאָה, אֶת-יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם:  כָּל-הַיָּמִים, אֲשֶׁר אַתֶּם חַיִּים עַל-הָאֲדָמָה, אֲשֶׁר אַתֶּם עֹבְרִים אֶת-הַיַּרְדֵּן שָׁמָּה, לְרִשְׁתָּהּ.  {פ} 13 and that their children, who have not known, may hear, and learn to fear the LORD your God, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over the Jordan to possess it.' {P}
יד  וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל-מֹשֶׁה, הֵן קָרְבוּ יָמֶיךָ לָמוּת--קְרָא אֶת-יְהוֹשֻׁעַ וְהִתְיַצְּבוּ בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד, וַאֲצַוֶּנּוּ; וַיֵּלֶךְ מֹשֶׁה וִיהוֹשֻׁעַ, וַיִּתְיַצְּבוּ בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד. 14 And the LORD said unto Moses: 'Behold, thy days approach that thou must die; call Joshua, and present yourselves in the tent of meeting, that I may give him a charge.' And Moses and Joshua went, and presented themselves in the tent of meeting.
טו  וַיֵּרָא יְהוָה בָּאֹהֶל, בְּעַמּוּד עָנָן; וַיַּעֲמֹד עַמּוּד הֶעָנָן, עַל-פֶּתַח הָאֹהֶל. 15 And the LORD appeared in the Tent in a pillar of cloud; and the pillar of cloud stood over the door of the Tent.
טז  וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל-מֹשֶׁה, הִנְּךָ שֹׁכֵב עִם-אֲבֹתֶיךָ; וְקָם הָעָם הַזֶּה וְזָנָה אַחֲרֵי אֱלֹהֵי נֵכַר-הָאָרֶץ, אֲשֶׁר הוּא בָא-שָׁמָּה בְּקִרְבּוֹ, וַעֲזָבַנִי, וְהֵפֵר אֶת-בְּרִיתִי אֲשֶׁר כָּרַתִּי אִתּוֹ. 16 And the LORD said unto Moses: 'Behold, thou art about to sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and go astray after the foreign gods of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake Me, and break My covenant which I have made with them.
יז  וְחָרָה אַפִּי בוֹ בַיּוֹם-הַהוּא וַעֲזַבְתִּים וְהִסְתַּרְתִּי פָנַי מֵהֶם, וְהָיָה לֶאֱכֹל, וּמְצָאֻהוּ רָעוֹת רַבּוֹת, וְצָרוֹת; וְאָמַר, בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא, הֲלֹא עַל כִּי-אֵין אֱלֹהַי בְּקִרְבִּי, מְצָאוּנִי הָרָעוֹת הָאֵלֶּה. 17 Then My anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide My face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall come upon them; so that they will say in that day: Are not these evils come upon us because our God is not among us?
יח  וְאָנֹכִי, הַסְתֵּר אַסְתִּיר פָּנַי בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא, עַל כָּל-הָרָעָה, אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה:  כִּי פָנָה, אֶל-אֱלֹהִים אֲחֵרִים. 18 And I will surely hide My face in that day for all the evil which they shall have wrought, in that they are turned unto other gods.
יט  וְעַתָּה, כִּתְבוּ לָכֶם אֶת-הַשִּׁירָה הַזֹּאת, וְלַמְּדָהּ אֶת-בְּנֵי-יִשְׂרָאֵל, שִׂימָהּ בְּפִיהֶם:  לְמַעַן תִּהְיֶה-לִּי הַשִּׁירָה הַזֹּאת, לְעֵד--בִּבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל. 19 Now therefore write ye this song for you, and teach thou it the children of Israel; put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for Me against the children of Israel.
כ  כִּי-אֲבִיאֶנּוּ אֶל-הָאֲדָמָה אֲשֶׁר-נִשְׁבַּעְתִּי לַאֲבֹתָיו, זָבַת חָלָב וּדְבַשׁ, וְאָכַל וְשָׂבַע, וְדָשֵׁן; וּפָנָה אֶל-אֱלֹהִים אֲחֵרִים, וַעֲבָדוּם, וְנִאֲצוּנִי, וְהֵפֵר אֶת-בְּרִיתִי. 20 For when I shall have brought them into the land which I swore unto their fathers, flowing with milk and honey; and they shall have eaten their fill, and waxen fat; and turned unto other gods, and served them, and despised Me, and broken My covenant;
כא  וְהָיָה כִּי-תִמְצֶאןָ אֹתוֹ רָעוֹת רַבּוֹת, וְצָרוֹת, וְעָנְתָה הַשִּׁירָה הַזֹּאת לְפָנָיו לְעֵד, כִּי לֹא תִשָּׁכַח מִפִּי זַרְעוֹ:  כִּי יָדַעְתִּי אֶת-יִצְרוֹ, אֲשֶׁר הוּא עֹשֶׂה הַיּוֹם, בְּטֶרֶם אֲבִיאֶנּוּ, אֶל-הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר נִשְׁבַּעְתִּי. 21 then it shall come to pass, when many evils and troubles are come upon them, that this song shall testify before them as a witness; for it shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of their seed; for I know their imagination how they do even now, before I have brought them into the land which I swore.'
כב  וַיִּכְתֹּב מֹשֶׁה אֶת-הַשִּׁירָה הַזֹּאת, בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא; וַיְלַמְּדָהּ, אֶת-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל. 22 So Moses wrote this song the same day, and taught it the children of Israel.
כג  וַיְצַו אֶת-יְהוֹשֻׁעַ בִּן-נוּן, וַיֹּאמֶר חֲזַק וֶאֱמָץ--כִּי אַתָּה תָּבִיא אֶת-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, אֶל-הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר-נִשְׁבַּעְתִּי לָהֶם; וְאָנֹכִי, אֶהְיֶה עִמָּךְ. 23 And he gave Joshua the son of Nun a charge, and said: 'Be strong and of good courage; for thou shalt bring the children of Israel into the land which I swore unto them; and I will be with thee.'
כד  וַיְהִי כְּכַלּוֹת מֹשֶׁה, לִכְתֹּב אֶת-דִּבְרֵי הַתּוֹרָה-הַזֹּאת--עַל-סֵפֶר:  עַד, תֻּמָּם. 24 And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished,
כה  וַיְצַו מֹשֶׁה אֶת-הַלְוִיִּם, נֹשְׂאֵי אֲרוֹן בְּרִית-יְהוָה לֵאמֹר. 25 that Moses commanded the Levites, that bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying:
כו  לָקֹחַ, אֵת סֵפֶר הַתּוֹרָה הַזֶּה, וְשַׂמְתֶּם אֹתוֹ, מִצַּד אֲרוֹן בְּרִית-יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם; וְהָיָה-שָׁם בְּךָ, לְעֵד. 26 'Take this book of the law, and put it by the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee.
כז  כִּי אָנֹכִי יָדַעְתִּי אֶת-מֶרְיְךָ, וְאֶת-עָרְפְּךָ הַקָּשֶׁה; הֵן בְּעוֹדֶנִּי חַי עִמָּכֶם הַיּוֹם, מַמְרִים הֱיִתֶם עִם-יְהוָה, וְאַף, כִּי-אַחֲרֵי מוֹתִי. 27 For I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck; behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, ye have been rebellious against the LORD; and how much more after my death?
כח  הַקְהִילוּ אֵלַי אֶת-כָּל-זִקְנֵי שִׁבְטֵיכֶם, וְשֹׁטְרֵיכֶם; וַאֲדַבְּרָה בְאָזְנֵיהֶם, אֵת הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה, וְאָעִידָה בָּם, אֶת-הַשָּׁמַיִם וְאֶת-הָאָרֶץ. 28 Assemble unto me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to witness against them.
כט  כִּי יָדַעְתִּי, אַחֲרֵי מוֹתִי כִּי-הַשְׁחֵת תַּשְׁחִתוּן, וְסַרְתֶּם מִן-הַדֶּרֶךְ, אֲשֶׁר צִוִּיתִי אֶתְכֶם; וְקָרָאת אֶתְכֶם הָרָעָה, בְּאַחֲרִית הַיָּמִים--כִּי-תַעֲשׂוּ אֶת-הָרַע בְּעֵינֵי יְהוָה, לְהַכְעִיסוֹ בְּמַעֲשֵׂה יְדֵיכֶם. 29 For I know that after my death ye will in any wise deal corruptly, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the end of days; because ye will do that which is evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke Him through the work of your hands.'
ל  וַיְדַבֵּר מֹשֶׁה, בְּאָזְנֵי כָּל-קְהַל יִשְׂרָאֵל, אֶת-דִּבְרֵי הַשִּׁירָה, הַזֹּאת--עַד, תֻּמָּם.  {ש} 30 And Moses spoke in the ears of all the assembly of Israel the words of this song, until they were finished: {P}

ΚΑΙ συνετέλεσε Μωυσῆς λαλῶν πάντας τοὺς λόγους τούτους πρὸς πάντας υἱοὺς ᾿Ισραήλ, 2 καὶ εἶπε πρὸς αὐτούς· ἑκατὸν καὶ εἴκοσιν ἐτῶν ἐγώ εἰμι σήμερον· οὐ δυνήσομαι ἔτι εἰσπορεύεσθαι καὶ ἐκπορεύεσθαι, Κύριος δὲ εἶπε πρός με· οὐ διαβήσῃ τὸν ᾿Ιορδάνην τοῦτον. 3 Κύριος ὁ Θεός σου ὁ προπορευόμενος πρὸ προσώπου σου, αὐτὸς ἐξολοθρεύσει τὰ ἔθνη ταῦτα ἀπὸ προσώπου σου, καὶ κατακληρονομήσεις αὐτούς· καὶ ᾿Ιησοῦς ὁ προπορευόμενος πρὸ προσώπου σου, καθὰ ἐλάλησε Κύριος. 4 καὶ ποιήσει Κύριος ὁ Θεός σου αὐτοῖς καθὼς ἐποίησε Σηὼν καὶ ῎Ωγ, τοῖς δυσὶ βασιλεῦσι τῶν ᾿Αμορραίων, οἳ ἦσανπέραν τοῦ ᾿Ιορδάνου, καὶ τῇ γῇ αὐτῶν, καθότι ἐξωλόθρευσεν αὐτούς· 5 καὶ παρέδωκεν αὐτοὺς Κύριος ὑμῖν, καὶ ποιήσετε αὐτοῖς, καθότι ἐνετειλάμην ὑμῖν. 6 ἀνδρίζου καὶ ἴσχυε, μὴ φοβοῦ μηδὲ δειλιάσης μηδὲ πτοηθῇς ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτῶν, ὅτι Κύριος ὁ Θεός σου ὁ προπορευόμενος μεθ᾿ ὑμῶν ἐν ὑμῖν, οὔτε μή σε ἀνῇ, οὔτε μή σε ἐγκαταλίπῃ. 7 καὶ ἐκάλεσε Μωυσῆς ᾿Ιησοῦν καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ ἔναντι παντὸς ᾿Ισραήλ· ἀνδρίζου καὶ ἴσχυε, σὺ γὰρ εἰσελεύσῃ πρὸ προσώπου τοῦ λαοῦ τούτου εἰς τὴν γῆν, ἣν ὤμοσε Κύριος τοῖς πατράσιν ὑμῶν δοῦναι αὐτοῖς, καὶ σὺ κατακληρονομήσεις αὐτὴν αὐτοῖς· 8 καὶ Κύριος ὁ συμπορευόμενος μετὰ σοῦ οὐκ ἀνήσει σε, οὐδὲ μή σε ἐγκαταλίπῃ· μὴ φοβοῦ μηδὲ δειλία. 9 Καὶ ἔγραψε Μωυσῆς τὰ ρήματα τοῦ νόμου τούτου εἰς βιβλίον καὶ ἔδωκε τοῖς ἱερεῦσι τοῖς υἱοῖς Λευὶ τοῖς αἴρουσι τὴν κιβωτὸν τῆς διαθήκης Κυρίου, καὶ τοῖς προσβυτέροις τῶν υἱῶν ᾿Ισραήλ. 10 καὶ ἐνετείλατο Μωυσῆς αὐτοῖς ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ λέγων· μετὰ ἑπτὰ ἔτη ἐν καιρῷ ἐνιαυτοῦ ἀφέσεως ἐν ἑορτῇ σκηνοπηγίας, 11 ἐν τῷ συμπορεύεσθαι πάντα ᾿Ισραὴλ ὀφθῆναι ἐνώπιον Κυρίου τοῦ Θεοῦ ὑμῶν, ἐν τῷ τόπῳ ᾧ ἂν ἐκλέξηται Κύριος, ἀναγνώσεσθε τὸν νόμον τοῦτον ἐναντίον παντὸς ᾿Ισραὴλ εἰς τὰ ὦτα αὐτῶν· 12 ἐκκλησιάσας τὸν λαόν, τοὺς ἄνδρας καὶ τὰς γυναῖκας καὶ τὰ ἔκγονα καὶ τὸν προσήλυτον τὸν ἐν ταῖς πόλεσιν ὑμῶν, ἵνα ἀκούσωσι καὶ ἵνα μάθωσι φοβεῖσθαι Κύριον τὸν Θεὸν ὑμῶν, καὶ ἀκούσονται ποιεῖν πάντας τούς λόγους τοῦ νόμου τούτου· 13 καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτῶν, οἳ οὐκ οἴδασιν, ἀκούσονται καὶ μαθήσονται φοβεῖσθαι Κύριον τὸν Θεόν σου πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας, ὅσας αὐτοὶ ζῶσιν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, εἰς ἣν ὑμεῖς διαβαίνετε τὸν ᾿Ιορδάνην ἐκεῖ κληρονομῆσαι αὐτήν. 14 Καὶ εἶπε Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν· ἰδοὺ ἐγγίκασιν αἱ ἡμέραι τοῦ θανάτου σου· κάλεσον ᾿Ιησοῦν καὶ στῆτε παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου, καὶ ἐντελοῦμαι αὐτῷ. καὶ ἐπορεύθη Μωυσῆς καὶ ᾿Ιησοῦς εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου, καὶ ἔστησαν παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου. 15 καὶ κατέβη Κύριος ἐν νεφέλῃ καὶ ἔστη παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου, καὶ ἔστη ὁ στύλος τῆς νεφέλης παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου. 16 καὶ εἶπε Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν· ἰδοὺ σὺ κοιμᾷ μετὰ τῶν πατέρων σου, καὶ ἀναστὰς οὗτος ὁ λαὸς ἐκπορνεύσει ὀπίσω θεῶν ἀλλοτρίων τῆς γῆς, εἰς ἣν οὗτος εἰσπορεύεται, καὶ καταλείψουσί με καὶ διασκεδάσουσι τὴν διαθήκην μου, ἣν διεθέμην αὐτοῖς. 17 καὶ ὀργισθήσομαι θυμῷ εἰς αὐτοὺς ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ καὶ καταλείψω αὐτοὺς καὶ ἀποστρέψω τὸ πρόσωπόν μου ἀπ᾿ αὐτῶν, καὶ ἔσται κατάβρωμα, καὶ εὑρήσουσιν αὐτὸν κακὰ πολλὰ καὶ θλίψεις, καὶ ἐρεῖ ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ· διότι οὐκ ἔστι Κύριος ὁ Θεός μου ἐν ἐμοί, εὕροσάν με τὰ κακὰ ταῦτα. 18 ἐγὼ δὲ ἀποστροφῇ ἀποστρέψω τὸ πρόσωπόν μου ἀπ᾿ αὐτῶν ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ διὰ πάσας τὰς κακίας, ἃς ἐποίησαν, ὅτι ἀπέστρεψαν ἐπὶ θεοὺς ἀλλοτρίους. 19 καὶ νῦν γράψατε τὰ ρήματα τῆς ᾠδῆς ταύτης καὶ διδάξατε αὐτὴν τοὺς υἱοὺς ᾿Ισραὴλ καὶ ἐμβαλεῖτε αὐτὴν εἰς τὸ στόμα αὐτῶν, ἵνα γένηταί μοι ἡ ᾠδὴ αὕτη κατὰ πρόσωπον μαρτυροῦσα ἐν υἱοῖς ᾿Ισραήλ. 20 εἰσάξω γὰρ αὐτοὺς εἰς τὴν γῆν τὴν ἀγαθήν, ἣν ὤμοσα τοῖς πατράσιν αὐτῶν δοῦναι αὐτοῖς, γῆν ρέουσαν γάλα καὶ μέλι, καὶ φάγονται καὶ ἐμπλησθέντες κορήσουσι· καί ἐπιστραφήσονται ἐπὶ θεοὺς ἀλλοτρίους καὶ λατρεύσουσιν αὐτοῖς καὶ παροξυνοῦσί με καὶ διασκεδάσουσι τὴν διαθήκην μου. 21 καὶ ἀντικαταστήσεται ἡ ᾠδὴ αὕτη κατὰ πρόσωπον μαρτυροῦσα, οὐ γὰρ μὴ ἐπιλησθῇ ἀπὸ στόματος αὐτῶν καὶ ἀπὸ στόματος τοῦ σπέρματος αὐτῶν· ἐγὼ γὰρ οἶδα τὴν πονηρίαν αὐτῶν, ὅσα ποιοῦσιν ὧδε σήμερον πρὸ τοῦ εἰσαγαγεῖν με αὐτοὺς εἰς τὴν γῆν τὴν ἀγαθήν, ἣν ὤμοσα τοῖς πατράσιν αὐτῶν. 22 καὶ ἔγραψε Μωυσῆς τὴν ᾠδὴν ταύτην ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ καὶ ἐδίδαξεν αὐτὴν τοὺς υἱοὺς ᾿Ισραήλ. 23 καὶ ἐνετείλατο Μωυσῆς ᾿Ιησοῖ καὶ εἶπεν· ἀνδρίζου καὶ ἴσχυε, σὺ γὰρ εἰσάξεις τοὺς υἱοὺς ᾿Ισραὴλ εἰς τὴν γῆν, ἣν ὤμοσεν αὐτοῖς Κύριος, καὶ αὐτὸς ἔσται μετὰ σοῦ. 24 ῾Ηνίκα δὲ συνετέλεσε Μωυσῆς γράφων πάντας τοὺς λόγους τοῦ νόμου τούτου εἰς βιβλίον ἕως εἰς τέλος, 25 καὶ ἐνετείλατο τοῖς Λευίταις τοῖς αἴρουσι τὴν κιβωτὸν τῆς διαθήκης Κυρίου λέγων· 26 λαβόντες τὸ βιβλίον τοῦ νόμου τούτου θήσετε αὐτὸ ἐκ πλαγίων τῆς κιβωτοῦ τῆς διαθήκης Κυρίου τοῦ Θεοῦ ὑμῶν, καὶ ἔσται ἐκεῖ ἐν σοὶ εἰς μαρτύριον. 27 ὅτι ἐγὼ ἐπίσταμαι τὸν ἐρεθισμόν σου καὶ τὸν τράχηλόν σου τὸν σκληρόν· ἔτι γὰρ ἐμοῦ ζῶντος μεθ᾿ ὑμῶν σήμερον, παραπικραίνοντες ἦτε τὰ πρὸς τὸν Θεόν, πῶς οὐχὶ καὶ ἔσχατον τοῦ θανάτου μου; 28 ἐκκλησιάσατε πρός με τοὺς φυλάρχους ὑμῶν καὶ τοὺς πρεσβυτέρους ὑμῶν καὶ τοὺς κριτὰς ὑμῶν καὶ τοὺς γραμματοεισαγωγεῖς ὑμῶν, ἵνα λαλήσω εἰς τὰ ὦτα αὐτῶν πάντας τοὺς λόγους τούτους, καὶ διαμαρτύρωμαι αὐτοῖς τόν τε οὐρανὸν καὶ τὴν γῆν· 29 οἶδα γὰρ ὅτι ἔσχατον τῆς τελευτῆς μου ἀνομίᾳ ἀνομήσετε καὶ ἐκκλινεῖτε ἐκ τῆς ὁδοῦ, ἧς ἐνετειλάμην ὑμῖν, καὶ συναντήσεται ὑμῖν τὰ κακὰ ἔσχατον τῶν ἡμερῶν, ὅτι ποιήσετε τὰ πονηρὰ ἐναντίον Κυρίου παροργίσαι αὐτὸν ἐν τοῖς ἔργοις τῶν χειρῶν ὑμῶν. 30 καὶ ἐλάλησε Μωυσῆς εἰς τὰ ὦτα πάσης ἐκκλησίας τὰ ρήματα τῆς ᾠδῆς ταύτης ἕως εἰς τέλος.
